ArchitectureSoftware / Products / CAD-Applications / Architectural designWith this basic module 3D models, 2D drawings and all possible constructions for architectural projects can be created. It is a tool which simplifies your projects and lets you work very effectively, from design to implementation.
 This module contains a 2D and 3D object generator with a complete library of building components such as walls, doors, windows, columns, staircases, roofs, steel sections, beams, foundations, etc. All objects can be adjusted by the user. When constructing a 3D model, plans, sections and elevations can be generated automatically. The model can be represented in orthogonal projection or in a perspective view. The user also has access to all relevant non-graphical data of the building process. All quantities and descriptions can be extracted with the module ICA-Extract™.
 Pro-ArchitectEngineer™ provides you with a full 2D/3D parametric object modeller for fast and easy project handling. The software comes with an extensive library as with a special staircase program that meets all expectations. The connection of walls enables the system to recognize the rooms inside a building automatically. After having numbered these rooms, the information is being passed on to all the other objects in the building. Walls, doors, windows and also furniture objects receive additional properties, so the system knows the exact location of these objects. This concerns also all non-graphical elements. By means of texts, it is possible to add information about e.g. persons, telephones, etc. These elements are allocated the respective room numbers, too. ICA-Extract™ is the tool to extract all this non-graphical data, together with other properties for Facility Management purposes.
 The use of execute files and database reports allows one to mark elements and search for them. This way one always has an unambiguous connection between ICAADS™ and the external software or database. ICA-RAS™ allows engineers and architects to use e.g. scanned drawings and/or (aerial) photographs as underlay. Pro-ArchitectEngineer™ comes with a visualization and animation program that allows the user to consider his models 'live' from different points of view while working on his project. With the help of the very effective Ray tracing procedure, generated models can be processed with photo-realistic precision. The software allows the user to represent projects in their surrounding area. Since the position of the sun can be calculated automatically by means of date, place and time, shadows can easily be simulated. After visualization, 3D projects can be published on the internet.
 All interfaces (DXF, DWG, SQD, EDBS, ArcXML, AEP, ESRI-SHP) offer a link to the most current CAD and GIS packages and allow the user to apply external data and also publish plans and drawings on the internet or intranet. Included are:
